I had Wednesday all scheduled to be a day off. No workout, nothing but catching up on some emails and generally rewarding myself for being such a good girl with the short stories.

Now I’m looking at the mountain of laundry, the mess all through the house, the arrangements for dinner, the sunny day outside and the schoolwork for the kids, as well as that Watcher nvel I should be making some headway on…

…and my sad little panda heart cries, I tell you. CRIES.

I have also gotten accustomed to the Twitter thing. It’s strangely compelling. (Though I am still stand by my promise never to upload that “tweets for the day” thing to my blog. I will spare you that.)

I suppose I should address something else, too–I’m sure all my LJ friends have noticed that comments are feeding onto my main blog instead of being open on LJ. This isn’t because someone torqued me off and I took my toys and left. (Dudes, come on. This is me. It would be all out in the open.) I just have limited time, and updating several blogs was not happening. The plugins I have for updating LJ and InsaneJournal (let’s face it, IJ is a backup…for several reasons) won’t let me keep comments open on LJ and closed on IJ. And…well, not to put too fine a point on it, but with the recent need for the Comment Policy, I also needed a way to track and contain some trolls. So, it’s a variety of reasons that have ended up with me just slamming out the blog posts here and hitting “publish” and going on with the rest of my day.

I do still read my f-list (religiously) and, as the Selkie suggested last night, I will strive to comment occasionally so you know I’m still around. And there are a couple filters on the f-list I will still post to sporadically, just because I loffs you all so much.

I’m sure everyone wanted to know about that. *rolls eyes* I must have nothing else to talk about. Except deadlines and the consistency of the oatmeal my brain has turned into today. I am unsure whether the zombies prefer firm-packed or runny brains.

Oh, except

Wikipedia is a nice starting place for some research, but don’t depend on it. Sooner or later that dependency will bite you right in a tender portion of your anatomy.
