Okay, I’m feeling gratified and proud. Just knocked out 3K on an alternate short story for an editor. As soon as I finish this celebratory blog post I am going to get up and do a Rocky-esque victory lap around my living room, dodging laundry and toys.

They are small joys, in this business. But they are mine, all mine.
